If I have to sit through another tribal council, or watch another girl get fooled into thinking she found love, or see another commercial for an upcoming round of horrible singers, my head is going to pop off. Late last year, along with the West Wing, I found an awesome show with so much potential and with such interesting characters, I finally started to watch the tube. But then, I felt dampened with the water that Fox threw onto Firefly. Damn them, damn Survivor, damn, American Idol. Damn I wish Firefly was back. I can't wait to find out when the DVD's come out (and now a movie!!!)
Still needin' to fly!!!

Right there with you buddy. But on the other hand, I'm glad, because now I'm out doing other more fulfilling things that just sitting around watch the boob-tube. Although, few things are as nearly fulfilling as Firefly.

On the newsgroup alt.tv.firefly, one of the people posted a Mark Twain quote that went something like, "I write books that are like water; geniuses write books that are wine but people drink water."
Well I know I butchered the quote but basically I believe Twain was saying that the majority of people can't appreciate stuff this good.

I know what you mean. I don't watch much network TV anymore except for a little on Thursday night. Friends, Scrubs, ER,....so sue me...)
I actually never saw FF on TV. I am always on TLC, Discovery, History Channel and the like when I got the tube on. It was only recently I discovered the show and have seen it thanks to the internet.
I wish I had seen it the first time through, but in a way I'm glad I didn't because I got to watch it in the "proper" order. (Serenity first)
