hope there are more of these. i cant see how they could do a series with the characters, in this kind of style. but maybe ... i can definitely see more river ones in the future with the whole session thing.

Not to rain on everyones parade, but I think it's a fake. The setting is bare bones and looks like it was shot in someone's basement. And when Summer Glau appears at the end her face doesn't seem right, as if it's been digitally manipulated.
This screams "fan film" to me, although quite a good one.

I think it was shot blah like that because it's supposed to be from a hidden camera in an inclosed room in the 'Academy' River was in. I, personally, thought it looked like Summer. She's supposed to look slightly younger, maybe? I would watch it again to check...but...um...*twitches and glances around the room*

Digitally manipulated? Sorry, I don't see it. Not only does that look exactly like Summer Glau to me, but it also seems as though the "operative" might be portrayed by none other than Mr. Whedon himself. At least, that's sort of what I think he'd look like from behind.
I'm looking forward to more of these being uncovered. Hopefully not all of them will be as "creepifying" to everyone.
