I didn't realize Josh used a name out of history.

Being Canadian I rarely follow Americian History, but while reading,I came across a refence to a Jubal Early.

Excited I ran down an internet search.

I wonder if we will see Early again once Firefly is back in the black....

Is anybody else intrigued by Michael Moore's view of American history?

I'm referring to the movie, "Bowling for Columbine" and his book, "Stupid White Men."

I was suprised when Joss chose that name as well, being of distant relation to the civil war general...
having the last name of Early myself, i still find it....odd, when the character is referenced in this forum. i mean just imaging if the name chosen was the same as yours....

and just wondering if there are any other early's out there who have similar feelings.

Optimus, I think the story is that Nathan Fillion is also distantly related to Jubal Early and hence, asked Joss to use that name.
