And thats just the tip of the iceberg of UK browncoats. 40,000 of us practically knocked the website for the edinburgh film festival off the internet trying to get tickets.

As you can see there's plenty of us around.

I'm from little old Leicester - home to the National Space Centre (though I still have yet to visit it)

Are you going to the Starfury event? Considering you live in the London area, I'm sure it would be a hell of a lot easier to get to than someone in my position - but I'm determined to go (even if I haven't yet bought my ticket)

btw - is your username a reference to X files? or are you just spooky in general?

interesting pic you got there

Is it a location map you made up to show where some of the fans reside?

if so you can add me in the Leicester area - it looks pretty empty there.
(No wonder it took a while for the Serenity comics to sell)

And that map only shows the vocal ones! I'm a new poster from Edinburgh and there is a hell of a lot more fans than 2 up here! Next week is going to be slightly nuts, but it's gonna be fun to see who shows up, might even put a couple of faces to names!

Best £7.95 I'm ever going to have spent.

How vocal are we talking here? I mean, I would have thought all here are vocal, but are you suggesting that some are marching up and down streets shouting "SERENITY NOW! SERENITY NOW!"

I really wish I could have gone to Edinburgh. I have an aunty living there so not only would I get to see the BDM but I would be able to see her too in her new house. Plus here's the thing, someone offered to sell me a couple of tickets for face value, but calculating how much it would cost me to travel to Edinburgh made me realise it wasn't a possiblity. Now though, I'm thinking of going to Starfuy and that's going to set me back £300 - mainly due to the hotel pricing!

No theres no radical wing of the fireflyfans - just I know so many folks up here who've done nothing but talk about firefly for months now!
