MEETING INARA (Morena Baccarin)

OMG!
As if spending ten days in Maui, Hawaii couldn't have made my life any better, I go back to work at my Barnes and Noble store here in Burbank, CA, and I'm shelving books in the sci-fi section (appropriately enough), when a woman walks up behind me and asks, "Excuse me, where is the Fiction section?"
I recognize that voice.
My heart stops.
My stomach gets that queasy feeling like it does when you know you're about to have an experience that you're going to remember for a long time.
I turn around and sure enough, it's her.
But I have to be sure.
"Are you an actress?" I ask. She nods. "Firefly?" I ask. She smiles and nods again. "Oh my god! Inara! Okay, I'm going to try really hard not to act like geek fan-boy here, but I really really love Firefly!" And I go on and on. I show her the Fiction section, then run off and grab all the "Finding Serenity" books we have and ask if she'll sign them, starting with one to me personally. She graciously signs them. Then I run back to the office and grab my digital camera that I just happened to have brought with me to work that day (was going to print some of my Hawaiian pics). I apologize and ask if she'll mind taking a pic with me. She says no problem and I get a coworker to take it. She tells me she's on her way to Scotland with the gang to attend Serenity's premiere and can't wait to hang with Nathan. "He's so much fun," she tells me. I shake her hand for the third time I think, tell her how nice it was meeting her, and let her escape...I mean, leave. Oh my god, I was walking on clouds for the next 5 days! LOL I have posted the pic in the BLUE SUN ROOM if anyone wants to check it out. SHe was sooooo nice and graciously put up with me flying in my 'geek mode'. LOL Enjoy.

After reading post on FFF.net for so long, and how OTHER fans got to meet the BDHs, I never thought it would happen to me......
Had you not posted the pic, I'd naturally want to call B.S. and believe you were making it all up. But hey, nice pick!!
On the outside, I'm thrilled you got to meet a BDH, and what a cool way too!
On the inside, I'm F-ing jealous and I think you suck!

You must go!! Its just a tiny (expensive) trip to the US.... It'll be worth it in the end. Booster Events always host the greatest events. Because you get more up close and personal with the stars then you think you will...Hey! Christan Kane invited me to his room!
Just think, The same could happen with Summer.
If you dont go...I shall e-mail you everyday of that weekend and tell you the summer update..And I'll say Matt says: Whatever you want to say.

The hotel is sooo amazing...and the staff is hilarious! The beds are undescriabley amazing...
I think 400 euros is alot..(Why do you have a euro key on your keyboard and I dont?! hmph.)

I'm always amazed at how gracious and friendly our BDHs are when they meet the fans, especially when we hit "geek mode". I love them so!
