>>>>I tried his site first thing, but he doesn't have anything listed in stock for issues #1 or #2, so I had to deal elsewhere.<<<<

Well I haven't a lot of time on his website so I'll have to go back and look.

Comic book stores all across America were trying to buy in bulk from him because they didn't buy enough. He refuses to sell in bulk because he knows that the stores will then jack up the price even higher. He wants to keep the prices reasonable for Browncoats. So everyone, get out and support Marco!

I just called Midtown comics (around 5 PM Eastern on Monday), and after spending a while on hold, found out while they have issue #1 in, they are sold out of issue #2, and are not taking preorders for Issue #3. Just a heads up to anyone else looking.

By the way if you go to the home page of www.bigdamnstore.com the comics are at the very bottom of the page. Just click onto it and it will take you to the issues. And yes, he still has Mal covers!

These comics are going for the price of a diamond the size of testicles and I got my hands on a couple of 'em!

Good info, thanks for the update! I only ordered #1 through them, had no idea what was up with the others. First-time-ever comic buyer here, this whole process is a mite confuzzling to me.

Maybe I'm just a trifle stupid, but I went to his site and clicked on the comics. All he's selling is his signed copies and the set of all 3 covers of issue 3 (couldn't find a link to individual copies at all, so if I wanted extras I'd have to buy all 3). Searching for serenity yields no better results.

I was able to pick up many covers of Issue 1 and 2 at my local comic shop, but I still need the Mal cover and the Zoe cover. Is ebay my only option left?

You are right. I didn't notice that. Just e-mail him directly (it's on the website) and let him know that you only want the Mal and Zoe covers. Those are the ones I bought on Saturday, good taste!

Well, not first time here. The last time I bought a comic book I was eight years old. And that was a very, very, very long time ago!

Yeah; to me comics were those things stuffed in a big cardboard box at Grandma's house, for pawing through and reading and keeping us quiet when we'd visit.

I don't know about Canadian newstands, but in the US, I spotted the "Serenity" comics at Borders Books and Music and a local newsstand as well. You probably won't have the selection of covers or anything, but it's another place to look, especially if you don't have a comic shop nearby.
