E A D G B E
0 0 2 2 1 3

If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me! I'm still pretty new at guitar, but that's the way I learned it....

They're both correct, each is an "inversion" of the other; ie; the same notes in a diferent order.

The Am7 used in the tab makes for a smoother and swifter chord change for most folk is all.

This chord progression is different from the one that I figured out, especially in the chorus. Here's what I have:

To get it in the same key as on the show, capo 2.

INTRO
C------------------------C
Jayne. The man they call Jayne...

REFRAIM
---C--------------------------Am
He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor.

------C------------------Am
Stood up to the man and he gave him what for.

----F----------------------G
Our love for him now ain't hard to explain.

----C------------------G------------Am
The hero of Canton the man they call Jayne.

VERSE
----Am------------Em-------------Am
Our Jayne saw the mudders' backs breakin'.

Dm(or Am)--Em--------Am
He saw the mudders'lament.

----Am---------Em---------Am
And he saw the Magistrate takin'

------Dm(or Am)--Em----------Am
every dollar and leavin' five cents. So he said

Dm------------------------Am
"You can't do that to my people."

Dm--------------------------------E(Major)
"You can't crush them under your heel."

---------Am--------------Em--------Am---------Em
So Jayne strapped on his hat and in 5 seconds flat

------Dm(or Am)------Em-------------Am
stole everythin'Boss Higgins had to steal.

END OF LAST CHORUS
--------C------------------G-------------C F C G C
... The hero of Canton the man they call Jayne.

I guess it's time to dust of the gorram axe, no that there's something I want to play. Thanks.
