I'm surprised no one has mentioned MY NAME IS EARL yet. That is the one show I'm really looking forward to this upcoming season because of one man........

JASON LEE.

I'd devote half an hour of my week to him just sitting in front of a camera not doing anything. That's how fucking good he is.

Plus "The Unit" and "E-Ring", two dramas with a 24 vet in each of them.

But for me, it's going to be my usual bunch of shows I watch (I 'm a reserved tv junkie.) I'm just happy ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT is back for a third year.

New shows: My name is Earl.
Threshold(the one with Brent Spiner)
the other 2 sci-fi Surface and invasion not sure about.
Just starting: Wanted
new seasons of Battlestar Gallactica and Stargate Atlantis have been good.
SG-1 has been a bit slow in its new direction.
looking forward to Lost and Desperate housewives return.

I'm looking forward for Supernatural on the WB(Sept 13th) and Bones and...I think thats it. Oh yeah, I kinda of interested in Ghost Whisperer but its seems like a knock off of the Medium but it can't hurt to look.

By the by...when does Bones premire??

Reunion isn't like 24 at all. 24 is a real time action/adventure drama. Reunion is a charcter show/ murder mystery where each episode takes place over a year. I am not sure if I will like or hate it, but I will give it a try.

I am looking most forward to Prison break, Invasion, and My Name is Earl.

Surface, Supernatural, and The Night Stalker could be good.

Although I will give Threshold a try, I am really skeptical, especially after seeing the previews with a dwarf on the investigating team. You can call me prejudiced, or a biggot, or whatever you want, I can't take these shows seriously when they put in someone onto the investigating team just to be politically correct. I remember when Threat Matrix was on ABC and they had a deaf woman on the team, and I just lost all connection to the group. I expect it will be the same thing with Threshold. Not saying a deaf person or a dwarf can't do a job, but when I see it on TV, I just think the producers are trying to be politically correct in how they hand out the roles.

The day I say I "adore" any movie or TV show is the day I hit myself with a hammer for being such a wuss!

Well its an ‘each episode is a period of time’ theme so its a rip off of the premise of 24. Which dates back to an episode of M*A*S*H I think and has been done on Stargate Atlantis a bit more correctly than 24 (real TV shows aren’t a hour they are about 40 mins hence the episode ‘38 minutes’)..

What's the premise of "The Unit"? I think I've seen previews for it, but am not sure. What channel is it supposed to air on?

Also looking forward to "E-Ring" just because I give anything military a chance.

this not mentioned yet, I dont if its already been reviewed as unworthy but as i only just noticed an advert for it-I am so behind Tru Calling with eliza drushku aka faith btvs; anyone heard of it? all opinions welcome and appreciated.
