Slight tangent: "Hasufel" is grey coat in the Old English that the language of Rohan is based on.

I've always been partial to your chosen name because of the Tolkien reference. /end tangent

Back to the subject, I've never thought Serenity looked like a horse, but I'm not going to argue with those who do. It's like arguing over what a cloud looks like. We see what we see.

Ohhh. Cool! My name is a Tolkien reference, too. Betcha you can't guess the reference. (Unless I already told you, in which case-- Cheater!)

Isn't it beautiful? I like that there can be more than one interpretation!

Part bug, part horse....guess that makes Serenity a HORSE - fly?

I said horse to me when I first saw it...
Its rear end is kind of FireFly like... according to the DVD's (i think) the front end was supposed to be Bird-like.

Am embarrassed that I knew that without having to ask. Legolas’ horse being, of course, Arod ….

Wow! I didn't know that. But when you said, and I looked for it, it popped out all backward like. And from the same book, too! Cool!
