2 Questions regarding your tag Hotforkaylee-- first, where'd it come from? And secondly, how come you can't conceive a thought without language?

Aww, come on Kaythryn. I thought by now you knew they all come from Babylon 5. This one season 4 ep 2 "What ever happened to Mr. Garibaldi". I suppose you can have a thought without language but it's just an image, no way to express it. I honestly didn't think about it that much. Thats why I like you.

Wow this thread got pretty big since I posted it a couple hours ago.
Okay what I do when not thinkin' about firefly... Working on two dead end novels that I fantasize will become best sellers, if I ever get past the staging ground. After that work on drawing like Michael Turner, Comic readers should know his work. I read mainly fantasy and Sci-fi novels, just got done with Bram Stoker's Dracula, I recomend it, don't expect that shitty movie with the clepto Wynona Rider in it. You can pick it up for like 5 bucks. Preparing to go back to school in the fall. And now watching Helen of Troy. And some gaming here and there, I agree with Sarah I can't wait for Dues Ex 2 to come out, but mainly I'm an RPG fan.

Usually work 6 days a week at the post office. After walking around for 8-10 hours (delivering mail), I stop by mom's to do anything she needs done in the yard or whatever. Then get home and have dinner, and if I'm not feeling too tired or lazy (yeah, right) I try to knock an item or two off Mrs. Lerxst's honeydo list. By then I'm too tired to do much else, although that usually doesn't stop me from hanging out on this board until the wee hours. Crash for 3-4 hours and do it all again. Some life, huh?
Don't have many hobbies. Used to build models when I was younger. Back then my dream job would have been working for George Lucas @ ILM, building models and then blowing them up.
Still read when I get the chance. I like Heinlein, although as Sarahetc says, he does get a mite confusin'. Also like Asimov, Bradbury, and the others from that generation. Been getting into Joe Haldeman and Allen Steele lately. Ooh, I almost forgot, I was at Media Play the other day rooting around in their bargain bin. I found Douglas Adams's "The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide" (all five novels in the trilogy plus a bonus short story). In hardcover, for 7 bucks. What a deal, no?
Despite having had a computer for a few years now, I'm still fairly illiterate. Just recently I discovered that Windows Picture It! came with my latest computer's software. Figured out how to use it to convert that publicity shot of Serenity into some flyers about the AC Shindig. I'm gonna pass those out at the Ohio Science Fiction Marathon April 26-27. Tickets are still available, http://www.drexel.net/specialevents.shtml BTW they're gonna show the Ohio premiere of Cowboy Bebop:The movie! That alone is worth the price of admission to some folks.
Also, discovered that I have Windows Movie Maker too. Am considering learning how to use, and if I get real ambitious maybe try my hand at makin' a video. Have no idea how to get it posted though. Know absolutely nothin' about web pages or hosting. Lucky if I can spell HTML. Got a friend who does have his own web page, maybe I'll start bugging him. Might be worth the effort, to combine Rush and Firefly, two of my favorite-est things in the 'verse.

My free time, what little there seems to be of it of late, are spent reading, painting, and hiking.
I wish I had more time for all the above pursuits, but work, family, and family obligations take up most of my time.

I read LOTS in my spare time because I seem to have nothing but time on my hands.
No I'm not in jail.
I also do needlework, like cross stitch and embroidery, but not very well. I latch hook because it gives me something to do while watching TV or in the car for long stretches. Anyone want a rug? I love latch hooking, but there are only so many rugs you can have in a 2 bedroom condo.
Seriously, anyone want, just email me. I also crochet, but I can only do straight lines, so all I do are blankets. Anyone want a blanket? Sarah, you and me could open up a store of unwanted crafts!
I collect Angels of all types, and I want to start collecting Easter Eggs (not the chicken kind, the decorative kind) My mom used to do that, but she stopped, so I want to carry on the tradition.
Basically, I'll collect anything that captures my fancy. My new project now is the Mardi Gras masks. Those are nice, light, and relatively cheap, so I'm figuring it's ok to collect those. I run into space issues a lot.
I also want to get a library going in my house. Floor to ceiling books in one room. I'm doing a good job of it too. Too bad I don't have a house of my own yet. But I'm young, and my hunny knows that my clock is ticking!
