I just got offered a job in Alaska today. Any Alaska Browncoats out there?

What part of Alaska? I am trying to get a job in Fairbanks. I lived there for 3 years when I was in the Army.

Well... the job was in Metlakatla near Keitchikan. I actually ended up taking a job in Wichita Kansas. So I guess I won't have a great Alaskan adventure. Is there such a thing as a great Kansan Adventure?

There can be, but it is also pretty remote there and dangerous. Instead if a Great Alaskan adventure, I prefer 'pretty neat' adventures.

I seem to remember a Kansas adventure that centered around some girl named Dorothy and a involved a tornado. Which actually sounds more exciting than frostbite...

Cosmoline, late of Willow now of Spenard. Checking in. What I love about this show is how much it reminds me of Alaska. The people are all packing heat and dressed in bits and pieces. We also hate the "Alliance" (Feds) and make our own rules (including some grown under the sink with a lamp).
