Got mine! Way better than the first issue.
The question is, for each issue:
What cover is your favorite?
For me so far it is Mal on issue 1 and Zoe on issue 2.
I love the artist from Runaways, but I think that Kaylee looks not quite right to me. The right energy, but it's something subtle about the face. Maybe Jewel's incandescent beauty is difficult to capture in mere drawings?

Got mine, haven't had a chance to read it yet (been a very long day), was only able to get 2 covers, but my store owner promised he'd get me the 3rd (it's good to have a friendly comic book store?.

I tried to pick one up today and they were sold out already. Were not talking about a high traffic shop either. I couldn't believe it. Now i'll have to track one down.

I got mine today, but I took the last copies at my local store (they promised to order more for Serenity #3).
BUT if anyone is still looking for #1 or #2 it turns out that Midtowncomics in NYC has plenty of copies and will ship:

of course they don't have #1 in the Mal cover...
and they have run out of #2 in Kaylee cover already...
but still, lots of all the other covers!
My favorites are:
Mal, Jayne, Kaylee, Book, River, and Wash...
I don't really like Zoe or Simon
(I just don't think those do them justice)
and the only one I really hate is Inara,
I don't think the artist 'got' Inara at all!
He draws her like a gorrum belly dancer.

Ha! Went down to the comic shop I called during lunch and they'd just gotten the shipment. Almost settled on the Book cover when he pulled Kaylee out of the stack! YEAH!

yeah, i am not one to nit pick, i usually go with a creator's vision on things, that's why i like angel season 4 and buffy season 5 and what have you. but i'm just getting a big ole' case of "eeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" from the comics. maybe i just miss the BDH on the tv screen.

Ashamed to admit I completely forgot about this yesterday (even though I was thinking about it the day before...).
But I went by the shop today and picked up a copy. For #1 they had a big stack of each cover, this time I only saw one stack of the Book cover [but they /might/ have sold out of the other two :].
I wanted Kaylee, but the Book cover is very nice so I'm happy.
Now, if I don't get a River cover next month, though.....

i managed to get all three covers, but each shop is selling out almost instantaneously.. it's amazing!
anyway, what shocked me about the storyline

was the man with the cybernetic eye... i didnt releaize who it was at first, but once I did, whoa how cool! we all thought agent dobson the Fed bought the farm in the first episode when Mal shot him in the head and they tossed him out the door onto whitefall as they left.. it would be funny to see him in the movie as well... cause he is totally off his rocker obcessed with killing mal!

Now I'm just pissed. This is the second time in two days that I've been unable to pick up my comic book due to being called in for work, just when I was heading out the door to go to the shop. GRRRRR!!!! I must not fail tomorrow!
