More than a month left to Dragon-Con and Browncoats seem to be coming out of the wood work. We now have 26 confirmed marchers. Here's the latest count of confirmed costumes:

Due to overwhelming response and the fact it won't clash with the SEBC Fan table's booth, Banner #2 is the one I will shop to various sign shops for printing.

As this is my first Con and first parade, I've got a question about the banners (which look great by the way). Will there also be a sign or signs which specifically say FIREFLY or SERENITY?

No.
We're hoping to get our hands on a Browncoat flag, but we have no signs that say Joss Whedon's Serenity or Firefly.
The parade banner is going to go to dual use for the SEBC's display booth as well. Any publicity for the group would drive traffic to the fan table which is a better vehicle to convert people.

Oh, got it, thanks. If we can get our hands on or create a cool Firefly/Serenity banner can we bring it also or would it be best to just use the one you've got set?
By the way, as long as it doesn't conflict with a panel or anything, my daughter and I plan on being in the parade. Kinda hard to know right now since there's no definite times for panels. Anyway, I'll be in a Zoe outfit and she'll be a cute Kaylee.

Last year their was no conflict with any of the Firefly panels. We had almost an hour between the end of the parade and the Saturday one.
If you are making your own banner, don't have it bigger than the SEBC one we will be sporting (3 feet tall x 8 or 9 feet long) and please don't use the SEBC logo. The SEBC banner will be leading the group.
Baybreeze, have you confirmed yourself and your daughter via email? If not please do so ASAP.
