Inkworks has made the Serenity 9 Card "RENEGADES" UNCUT MINI PRESS SHEET limited to only 99 copies. I only have 6 more left for sell.

For those who dont know what a 9 Card Uncut Mini press sheet is, let me tell you. Every set Inkworks makes they do a 9 card puzzle. You collect all 9 cards to reveal a larger picture. On top of that they make what they call an UNCUT press sheet. Its the 9 card puzzle but it hasnt been cut up in to the 9 cards yet. They limit these ussualy 199-299 but since they short printed the whole line of serenity cards they did the same with the Uncut press sheets, limiting it to only 99....Wow thats pretty rare and will sure to the be a BIG collectiable down the road.

One thing I really hate about RSSing this feed is all these damn spam advertising posts. People pimping their own stores and such. Stick with the real Firefly/Serenity news, people!

I would tend to agree. Anything tagged "BIG NEWS" and such should generally be about the movie or series, in my opinion, not trying to sell things.

I know people use this site to pump up business, which is fair enough, but occasionally it is a little too much.

Agreed. This belongs in "One Trading Post", not "General Discussions", and if one of the mods owns, works for, or has some personal connection to this company, they should come clean about it. And stop promoting it to "NEWS"!!!!!!

Haken, can we please have news items automatically marked by the mod who promoted them to news (like Slashdot marks which editor posted a story to the home page)? That way we know who to complain to...

Sorry, I disagree. I have no problem selling these. The big News was news. The items being limited to 99 is HUGE news. Maybe not to you or ever Firefly fan, but it is to some. Just because the news doesn’t directly effect you, doesn’t mean its not important to someone else. I don’t spam the forum either. I made 1 post informing people that the Inkworks announced that the Mini presses would be limited to only 99 copies. How would you feel if you wanted one and it wasn’t available because you never got the info that it was short printed.

Like it said, just because the NEWS doesn’t relate to you don’t mean it doesn’t to someone else. To me and to others who are interested in Serenity Merchandise and collectables this is pretty big news.

If I were posting about an ITEM for sell and NOT infoming someone of breaking news. Then I would have posted it in the trading post.

It's just that to everyone else it looks like you're informing people of items for sale so that you can profit regardless of how you worded the post. You do stand to profit from this if people buy from 258 West Authentic, right? Perhaps you could provide links to additional retailers in the future.

Hahahaha what's even funnier is he wants $70 for this thing. Isn't it basically just a puzzle of a picture we've seen a million times on the internet already? On top of that...it's not even a puzzle yet.

I fail to see why anyone would spend $70 on this. It's about as cool as the mini posters given out at the Serenity screenings and people were even passing those up when they were free.

Ignoring the issue of how this gets to be News Item (I agree that it isn't & should just be a regular thread in the Trading Post forum), is it really such a problem for someone to link to their products? Plenty of us do it with our CafePress stores etc - people are interested to know what merchandise is out there afterall.

Of course he'll make a profit - any shopkeeper will! (OK, maybe not as much as Darryl, the Scourge of the Comic Book World). Noone's being forced to shop at any particular store and we can all decide for ourselves whether the prices seem reasonable or not.
