Aww, I love the Labyrinth! I still have it on VHS. I wanted to be Jennifer Connely in that movie. She was SO cool.
And I agree Citizen, Mondays should be made illegal. We should ban it and just skip right to Tuesday.

See, I think Thursdays are worse than Fridays because on Thursday I sit there and think "One more day, you have to make it through one more day." While Friday, I can focus on the end of the week, what I'm going to do that night, my plans for Saturday. I much prefer Fridays to Thursdays.
Plus, for some reason, I've never liked the word "Thursday". Bleh. Certainly we could have come up with a better word for a day than "Thursday".

In the United Kingdom, all general elections since 1935 have been held on a Thursday, and this has become a tradition, although not a requirement of the law.

Quakers traditionally refer to Thursday as "Fifth Day" eschewing the "pagan" origin of the name "Thursday".

Well, as for me, I knew the thing about Thor, and about elections, and Arthur Dent (Huge Adams fan). But I didn't know the Hindus or the quakers, either. So I learned something, and that always makes me happy.
