Actually, Persephone does not work. That is the Greek name. The planets are named after Roman gods. So it should be Proserpina, I think.

Close, it's Proserpine. Which isn't nearly as pretty sounding as Persephone, I think.

And I prefer the Greek names. We should change all the names of all the planets simply because I like the Greek names better!

I hope that it isn't desigated as a planet. If it is then in the next few years we will see around 100 new planets we will have to keep track of. I think Pluto shouldn't have been called a planet, but since the population is used to it and it is the first Kuiper belt object to be found I guess it's alright to let it keep its planet status. Any new chunk of rock out there needs a name but should not be given planet status.
