Hi, all!
I'm quite new to the Firefly franchise, I stumbled over the series due to a commentary on one Angel 5 episode.
I bought the dvds and was immediately sucked into the 'verse, fell in love with Captain Tight Pants and Jayne and the rest is history. 3 week old history, to be precise.
Oh well, guess I'm just another obsessed fan girl.
I'm 41, German, have a brother who lives in London and Easy Jet flies from here (Dortmund) to there dirt cheap. So I'm going to see the movie there, come hell or high water. Yay me!
Innitiation-wise, please note that I'm a freakin foreigner to the english language and don't have a way with words... but I have MY way with words. And I saw penguins last year, in South Africa of all places.
So give me your best shot and I'll come up with some random, meaningless drabble that makes no sense whatsoever. I'm good at that.
Speaking of randomness:
I had a bycicle accident Wednesday last and am now sporting a black eye that's really more dark red going aubergine. And I picked a pair of pants in matching colour today. Ain't that strange?

By anyhow, welcome to our madness Kalliope! Believe it or not these threads did actually start out with a specific purpose - not sure anyone remembers what that was though...
