What about "We're still flyin' and that's enough" Only how would you end it?

We're still flyin' and that's enough (insert something here.)

I don't write songs. I just sing along.

Yay for conga!!

And I guess I will be a honorary member of Sean's crew. Guest of honour or something.

And I will try out for Soul's team, although hopefully he won't be mad that he was second choice - I didn't know he had a crew!

And congratulations on streaking citizen!!

And, welcome to the wacky thread!!

And don't worry, they're are many loonies at these things. I just spent 6 days with some of them. lol

And KEMAL'S LEAVING??

The British public have incurred my wrath!

PsychicRiver

"Two by two, hands of blue."
"We'll take care of each other. I'll knit!"

Summer Glau to me - "You are so photogenic."

"The British public have incurred my wrath!"

We seem to be doing that a lot with lots of people recently. :(.

I've turned a Real World Events Thread into a discussion about monkies...

Random one liners appear at the end of the song, so that might be good there. I can't think how to make it in to a full verse either :(

I must admit I am very, very, very dubious about this crew idea.

First of all, the idea is presumably to get us to raise awareness and generate publicity for Serenity. Well, that's a bit of an affront to all those who have poured countless man hours into promoting the movie off their own backs. They know how they are, we know who they are, they don't need Universal to designate them 'Captain' to make them special. And they're already supported by the rest of us, sometimes in time, sometimes in cash, sometimes in just saying "well done".

Secondly, the Browncoat community is, by and large, a very united one. Compare it to other fandoms like Star Trek where the message boards can be incredibly hostile and pedantic. And now they want us to divide into tiny little groups and turn on each other? I know you think I'm overstating it but there's already been "digs" between Sean Harry's crew and the BBC crew. I'm certain it will instantly blow over but two groups who are to all intents and purposes identical seeing slights in each other's comments? Before they've even set one challenge?

Thirdly, what if the crews themselves fall apart. There are bound to be big crews that have 'dud' members or even perfectly decent members that are seen as 'duds'. Are they going to be made to walk the plank? How will they feel about the community if they're thrown out of their chosen subset.

This all smacks of a bad, bad idea. I could be wrong. Serenity Leader could turn up tomorrow with a series of delightful challenges that really push the crews to ever greater heights and build a wonderful lifetime bond between each set of thirty. I'd love to be proved wrong.

But, and forgive me for quoting another sci-fi franchise, I have a bad feeling about this.

Well said Simon. I joined one, but it's a pretty silly one that I won't have to work a whole lot for. I think they'll all explode before the movie release.

Posted in the sunroom, but I'll post here and let you know that I LOVE it. Well done. So very funny and I'm so glad you worked the part in about the hair.
