Okay folks, listen to The Hat:

I've visited www.theweirdgirl.com a lot recently, and I've come to the conclusion that I've fallen madly in love with one of our own.

I'm officially starting a campaign to steal her away from her significant other and keep her for myself.

Of course, if I'm successful, it means that El Jefé's Harem wll have to come to an end. But, I truly believe that it will be well worth the sacrifice.

I'm I fail in my quest, however, I'll be accepting names, phone numbers, and pictures of new Harem candidates immediately... in an effort to assuage my sorrow.

We are so lucky to have so many wonderful women here, from all walks of life at all stages of life. I've been given advice on romance, dogs, outfits, drawings, music; I've had a picture done of what I should look like just from how I write; I've even gotten to meet a few in person.

Not that I can disagree with your desire for thatweirdone, but everything I've heard about Jake makes him sound perfect for her, the ying to her yang, the Hamlet to her Ophelia, the Greg to her Dharma.

I think you should just start a geisha recruitment drive instead. Probably best.

Wow! ThatWeirdGirl has her very own thread! So jealous...*sigh*

And I'd like to say that I love TWG, too. But in a girl/friend/fellow TREE crewmember/co-conspirator of TOTAL CANDY DOMINATION (TCD)/platonic kind of way.

Edited to say: Okay, well, I used to love TWG, until she joined my brother's crew (Well, it's Succatash's, but my brother's on it, too.) It was a may-september kind of thing. Now I just respect her from a distance.

Edited again to say: Okay, I love TWG again. We made up. I didn't really not love her, but I was hurt at what I thought was her betrayal. But I've come to terms with that. I've moved on, and I'm ready to give all the above mentioned facets of our relationship another try.

And thanks, on behalf of all the womenfolk, for your kind words, Simon. We all think you're pretty great, too!

P.S. Sorry for hijacking the thread for my own emotional rollercoaster. It won't happen again. Today.

Kidding...Just kidding...

I don't think I've ever laughed at myself while typing as much as I have during this post!

Why Jefé, I’m so honored. I…I think you’re pretty too.

The honor you do me flatters my honor.

From the moment I stepped foot on this ship FFF.net the folks have been incredible. I’ve loved meeting all of you. Certainly, I have gotten close to some menfolk. I’ve definitely done some serious flirting. Throwing kisses. Talking fancy spacey talk.

The men, women too, on this board are so friendly and loveable and smart and witty and creative that is hard not to fall for them. I’ll admit I’ve wondered.

It’s been said before but I think it applies: If I were not spoken for I’d take you in a womanly fashion.

As long as you know Greg, I mean Jake, is in the next room and you’re okay with that, feel free to woo away. I am a bit confused though. What does this do to my place in the harem?

For someone that can’t keep her mouth shut, I sure have no idea what to say.

Jefé

Well, being 'taken' and by a fellow firefly fan, flirting is about all imma manage, but.. since I'm too crabby to carry it off believeably, hehehe.. well...

Conversation is always good, especially with someone capable of carrying on an intelligent one, and there's a pleasantly surprising amount of browncoats capable of doin that.

I figure we got the best of the lot, us.

Always up for oddball topic convos, me.

Seriously, I have a crush on all of you for different reasons. Jefé is our president. He's tall dark and handsome. Girls would love to stand tippy-toe and run their fingers through his thick dark hair. And Simon. Sigh. He's perfectly British. Sarcastic and smart. What can we say about Pez? Every gal loves a man that can make her laugh on a regular basis. I think it would be splendid to be on the receiving end of one of Cozen's massages, don't you? TheRealMe uses his imagination in ways that are positively captivating. I can't list all the men here on FFF, but I love them all. In my own perverse little way.

I wouldn't flirt with you if I didn't.

Luckily, I have avoided interesting conversation, and have went straight to just plain odd conversation...Wondering things like "How much does an ocelot weigh? What does it taste like? Would you ever kiss one?"

OR:

"When Dolby sang about some chick blinding him with science, do you think it hurt?"

Is that scatalogical enough for everyone!

Damn, I need some sleep...Yes, if you're reading this, and you know me, then you know, I might have reached the breaking point...
