I also think it'd be nice if the crew members were allowed to choose titles: 1st Mate, medic, mercenary, pilot, whatever they wanted. Or maybe we could earn titles based on credits...anyway, I'm hoping this is something that's going to be expanded upon, seeing as it's been up for 2 days and there are over 70 crews so far.

Most of those crews also have the largest number of crew members - perhaps it's based on the total points of the crew? Lord I hope not, there's no way we can catch up to some of the larger point totals.
