I'm a Captain, I've Got a Ship, Now I Just Need A Crew...

Okay, so over on the official Serenity movie board, they have started an option where if you have at least 4000 credits, you can become a Captain and recruit up to 30 people into your crew, done for the purpose of getting more credits and other things. If you have less than 4000 credits, you can join a crew.

Now here's the odd thing. 4 hours ago, I only had 3400 credits. I didn't have enough to become a Captain, so I was going to join a crew. I went back on there 20 minutes ago, and lo and behold, I had exactly 4000 credits. Don't know how it happened, but I went ahead and created a ship. Now I'm ready for a crew. If anyone wants to join, go on over to the official movie board and click on the Crew option. I'm down towards the bottom. "Destiny Flying" is the name.

I'd love to have you!

I've just joined the site today so I've only got a grand total of 135 points. But I'm determined to get those "Brownie points" up.

everyone appears to have been awarded 600 points yesterday,
I think they were for the sold out screenings
(but I'm not sure)
anyway I became a Cap't my own self...
and I was having my friends around here as crew,
the folks I watch Firefly with and share my comic books with...
but they aren't registered and aren't likely to get registered;
so I guess they'll never be 'official' crew.

Okay, here's what I don't understand.
Now that we've got a ship, a super shiny Captain, and several crew members, what are we supposed to do? They've got a list of the top 10 crews, but how did they get there? How are we supposed to "compete" against other crews for credits? I can't seem to find any info.

I'd like to do my part to kick all the other crews' butts, but I don't know where to begin.

Captain? Any insight?

This Captain has no clue. I like the whole concept, but I can't find any info on what the crews are going to be doing!! Well, at least we'll have fun!!
