Is it me, or does the new mule look like it takes up most of the cargos area?
** Please no spoilers ** This is just an observation...

Since I haven't seen the movie yet, I guarantee this will be spoiler-free.
Just a thought--maybe it ain't "the new mule". Maybe it's something they're using special for the occasion.

It IS the new mule, but it doesn't take up the whole cargo bay. I think the cargo bay might be a bit bigger in the movie.

If you recall an interview with Alan, he said the cargo bay and hallways were wider in the new set. More room for better acting as he put it.

the cargo area was big enough for a whole herd of cattle...
so no way the 'mule' could be anywhere near that massive.
I'm guessing if you photograph it close up then it fills the screen, but there should still be plenty of space for cargo....

Just as long as Alan gets a mule to play with. That's the most important thing.
