Hey there! I'm new and just wanted to say "hey" to everybody... among other things.

Buffy started when I was just in 4th grade so watching something like that at my age would scar me for life(I have a point, don't worry!). It wasn't until i figured out I had some toenail fungus or something... Anyway, after my surgery on my foot, I couldn't move for a while; this was about Jan. 2003. I sat in front my t.v. (b/c I couldn't move) and stumbled across a show with a blonde-headed girl jumping around, poofing vamps into dust. After a while, I knew the show meant WAY more than that. I finished my collection of the 7 seasons this past Christmas. I watched Angel at the same time while a very short-lived show remained a mystery to me... until this weekend.

Here's my point! I thought Angel was good? Hoo! I thought Buffy was great? Haa! Firefly is AMAZING to me. I bought the series this past Thursday and can not get enough of it. I may have gotten into this show late, but I will always be lovin' it and askin' for more!

You have just become merely the newest recipient of the Firefly magic - I think that's pretty much the way it is with everyone (or at least was with me) so I can totally understand ...

I remember, so clearly, looking rather anti-climactically into the bag my friend had given me for my birthday, expecting to see Buffy season 7 and instead seeing some crappy sci-fi series (and I hate sci-fi) … well, I toyed with exchanging it for Angel season 3 but decided I’d watch it instead – and the rest in history!! Wonderful, obsession-making, TV HISTORY!!!

Hurrah!!
