OK, way too early in the morning to be thinking of cous-cous! Cake yes, but not cous-cous.

Wonder whether the sniveling cheat has signed on for anyone's crews. He's on just over 3000 points at the moment, so maybe the photo posting was an attempt to reach Captain status!

Macs are pretty...never actually used one, but let's face it, if you see a computer in a show it's a Mac. Willow used one, Jaye used one on Wonderfalls...yep, sure are pretty.

Pretty is one thing... "Goes wrong a lot" and "resists most attempts to use it under normal conditions" are another.

You can get some very pretty PCs and non-Mac laptops these days.

*just about manages to resist*

I quite like Macs but given that I know Windows inside out now, I don't need to learn another system.

Although the Mac II's at my university were cursed. Cursed I tell ye!

i remember using a Mac once... they were nifty, but like you i'm so used to my PC's and Windows, know it like the back of my hand.

the mac mice still scare me though, they're all one button-ed

I can't even comprehend only using one button. I mean, how do you... do... stuff?

Like most here it's like learning another language when the one you already speak works with everyone; why learn another?

Ah, The Big English Problem. Why bother to learn another person's language when most people seem to speak English far better than most English people learn the other languages? I shouldn't think many other countries have this problem.... and it is a problem, because it promotes linguistic laziness in this country.

The perils of having the second most popular language in the world as your native tongue, eh?

I have to say you do seem completely hatstand in Random. Or is that Surreal? I prefer genuine Frontier Gibberish myself.
