Guns in the BDM

Hi, I haven't posted here in a while, but I was wondering if someone who had seen the BDM could inform me if the same guns from the series are in the movie. Thanks

I've only seen the two trailers but Mal's gun is the same, Zoe's gun appears to be the same although I haven’t looked too close. Jayne looks to be not carrying his LeMat pistol- but this is just in the trailer scenes.

Indeed: from just the trailers alone, it looks as if only Mal's pistol and Zoe's sawn-off rifle-thing have survived the transition to the big screen. All the other guns look like new designs instead of the tried and true old guns from Earth-That-Was we saw in the series.

Not seen the BDM, though, so I couldn't say for sure.

To tell you the truth, it was all one big blur

I do remember Mal carrying his gun (100% sure), Zoe had her gun (80% sure). I don't remember Jayne using his pistol, but I swear that man went through a lot of guns in the movie so I can't really tell ya if he did or not

What I did notice though, was there was no Vera :( although I bet they didn't use it because it was a nonfunctioning prop. Plus it would look a little goofy in this decidedly darker toned movie.

Jayne also uses this minigun-ish thing near the end, which suits him.

Alright here's the Gun spoilers from the movie.

Mal has his good old pistol (and from the comics we know he's had that since the war...). He also briefly carries what looks to be a modified M4 carbine with a "movie scope", an added heat shield/sleeve around the barrel and a silver finish. The front sight is changed as well. At first glance I thought it was a Dragonov repainted but it seemed more like an M4 on closer thought.

Zoe does have her "mule leg" cut down rifle. She also uses a chromed pump-action shotgun and Mal's new rifle.

Jayne uses a modified MP5 supershort (can't remember the model) and the "minigun" looks to be a rifle of some sort but with a huge barrel sleeve over it. I couldn't make out the model. Vera, sadly, does not reappear.

Other guns that show up: MP5K, various pistols, one very sci-fi looking pistol (see the international trailer).

The Alliance has a new rifle in its armories. It looked like a frame from a bolt-action rifle heavily modified and given a chrome finish.
