Just a random question really, but one of personal significance: Does anyone know the name of the actress in Serenity (pilot, not movie) whose teeth Badger checks? She looks really familiar, I think she might be my dear friend Rosie, who moved to California many years ago. Please set my mind to ease ...

I have no clue who the actress is however:

I have been wondering about that scene for a while now. Was that scene supposed to demonstrate to us that Badger is involved in slave trading? It was the only thing I could think of.

But sorry...don't know the actress.

Checked a couple of sites, and if she was slave #1, then her name is Gabrielle Wagner.

I was thinking the scene was more of a statement on Badger's personality that he would bother with things like the quality of a girl's teeth.

I wasn't sure until I saw that fourth picture! But that's got to be her!

edit- and IMDB has it being her.

Yup, that's slave#1, although on her resume she has herself listed as a co-star.

And under special skills, she has "fire arms" and "pogo stick". Now I'm never one to make fun, but isn't that the most interesting of combinations.

And thanks to those who tracked this down. Now I can set my mind at ease
