yeah, I'm LOVING seeing on TV looking so pretty,
but it is very disconcerting to see it trimmed down for the small screen.
Sci-fi seems to be doing a good job of it, but it is so obviously meant to be wide-screen....

still...they advertised that they'll be running the 'Serenity' trailer in next week's show!

The commercial breaks are kind of abrupt!

I've been spoiled with my non-commercial DVD set all these years, I guess.

The first hour of 'Serenity' is slow... I hope non-Browncoats (and potential new Browncoats) aren't turned off by this. The second hour is the payoff so tune in next week!

ya, when you see the first war scene I think it may kinda be a turn off, people would be like oh this is just a war show or something lol. And then I can see how the stealing scene like right after that together with the first scene may be confusing and not appealing for future Browncoats. Hopefully they will have some faith, and keep watching. I liked where they stopped it for the end, where Mal was just like, "...huh..." and that was the end. It was funny. :)

Yeah, I just got a friend hitched on it, I "forced" her to record it and watch it as well Plus I was bugging everybody else about it that they HAVE to watch it. Come on, more browncoats, yeah!!!

Well, it's not on here in California. It's ON THE SCHEDULE at this time, but they're playing Battlestar Galactica instead.

I can't believe it. I was looking forward to the ceremonial quality of seeing the show on air again.
