The only thing I don't like about the poster is that I don't have it! I love it! I love the movie, and having seen it, I think the poster is more than fairly indicative of the film. I want it, I want it, I want it...In a big, huge glass frame, hanging in my stairway so that everyone will have to ask me what it is...And, I can tell them that its from the best sci-fi film ever made!

That's what I think of the poster. If it was a chick, I would line up so it could reject me like all the other chicks...I'm not kidding, I love that poster!

That's kinda sad. Didn't Nathan see all the threads about loving this poster? I guess there's not much he could contribute to those except, "hey, I love it too." But it sucks to hear from him in a negative way.

Edit: I just checked out the post at the SB, and the response was actually very good-humored, which I guess is how Nathan's post was intended. I would like to hear more from him though. You know, on the SB, in my personal mailbox, on the phone...

I happen to dig the poster. It's a bit different than I'd would have figured..was expecting more of a Serenity logo feel to it.

I think that was the point. You see, the Serentity logo really does resonate for us, but we're already going to the movie!(multiple times).

The poster is there to sell it to everyone else.

I think the poster looks pretty good - lets face it, the fans are onboard already yet we've still got to pull in as many of the masses as we can.

Poster like that looks all Hollywood and professional - I'd like to think it'll attract attention but I guess only time will tell. That and the ratings :D

I LOVE the poster.
Very atmospheric. Very moody. Kinda dark and even a little dangerous.
And it looks like it takes...no...prisoners.

Hmm, I hope he didn't get confused on the Jayune Serenity poster comment. I really do like the poster, I can only hope for a Jayne to go along w/ the River poster...(b/c they're my fav characters of the show)

I agree the poster has a dark feel to it, but I don't like it. Maybe because all the browns are missing and that seems to be the overpowering color with everything Firefly, but really I think it's just the WORST picture of River I've ever seen. After staring at it for a while it still doesn't look like her. Maybe it's that Nathon and Summer have the exact same facial expression. As Austin Powers would say, "She does look slightly man-ish."

It's a good poster, I just don't think it captures the Firefly/Serenity vibe.
