Yes, ma'am. I will endeavor to do my utmost, though I am not sure whether Bounty is sold here in the States. I will check in the grocery store on my way home. (You speak of the coconut-chocolate bar, I gather?)

If it is not available here, perhaps you might be convinced to introduce me to this fine delicacy when I visit Amsterdam in October?

Ooooh, a visit, but of course. Bountys are indeed the coconut bar covered in chocolate (yummy) and it is indeed possible to buy them in Amsterdam! What are you visiting this lowland for and can we not convince you to rearrange for November and combine it with a UK convention?

I like being called ma'am and the gift of apples, I think I shall come to expect this. I also expect everyone to ask for permission when they go to the toilet...ok that is a lie, I expect SimonWho to ask (awww, I am picking on you again... do say if I upset you at all Dr Probe)

extremely dimensionally transcendental

See, you say that Emma, and now I have to go.

And no, this isn't a Man With Pez scenario.

Plus Bounty bars (like nearly all coconut connected produce) are the work of the devil or at the very least, one of his higher ranked minions.

From 23 September to 10 October, I will be visiting England, Ireland, Scotland, Amsterdam, and Prague. The occasion? On 27 September, the sun will be the same in a relative way, but I will be older (34!), shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.

I wish, I wish, I wish I could change the dates, and go to a convention, but my finances and my paid holidays are limited. *small sad* I've never been to a con!

Hopefully some browncoats will be in the aforementioned locations during my visit. When I know which days I will be in which locations, I shall start a thread.

Aw. Bet Mal-l gets to kidnap. Not fair I can't.

And a challenge... damn! Fine, then. In the spirit of "be careful what you ask for...."

A Poem really Badly.
(for Emma)

Ah, lass, this dull ache inside,
too much chocololate, not salubrious.
Augmented by vodka distilled from potatoes.
Obvious, is it not, lass?
Naked are our pained souls which
parrot the thread's ethos.

Where will you be visiting in England, Ireland and Scotland? They are quite big places to take them all in within just a few days

Most of my time in England will be in London, but I will probably make one-day trips to Manchester and Brighton. Two days in Dublin, a day in Aberdeen, a day in the Highlands (probably including a night in Inverness), and a day in the Hebrides.

Heh. Busy busy, eh? Brighton's an interesting choice, compared to the other two. And the Hebrides too. Why the eclectic itinerary?
