I'm just really short on coinage at the moment - so when I get home,(I'm actually in London till Saturday) if my laptop's multi-region I'll be having a serious look-around to find the region1's. Thing is- I also wanna get Taken on DVD. Great show/mini-series/series of TV movies/whatever. But whatever it is, it's some of Spielberg's best work (and that's saying something really now isn't it?)
A tiny bit confused/skint/vaguely annoyed (I'm vaguely annoyed a LOT) FLF.

Since we seem to have similar tastes in SF, I will take it that I must also get Taken (have not seen it), if it's so good you'll spend money for it.

No, it really is VERY good. Have you seen War of the Worlds yet? The kid (Rachel or something) out of that is in Taken - she's great too!
I've seen it for £25 in HMV, and am considering whether my purse can take that and (possibly) DA on region1. hmm. (shall have to do more invisible flourescent pink beird stroking.)
Oh yeah, and Darla (out of Buffy and Angel - she's a lot cooler in Angel though isn't she) is in a few of the earlier episodes.
