I haven't seen this posted yet (and I'm being lazy with my dates, but they are pretty close) but I believe the first season will be released EXCLUSIVELY by Best Buy July 26th for around 70 bucks, then in September it will be widely released and I'd hope the price should come down. As much as I want this, I think I'll wait until September.

Lister, I did some searching and was only able to get 'August' as a release date. If you're right though, I'm with you on waitin'. $70 is quite a high price, all right.

The Best Buy website has it listed for $50.

I hope you're right about the 50 bucks at Best Buy. A friend of mine at work who is really into movies/tv showed me the site with the press release, or whatever it was. For 50 bucks I'd erconsider. Did Best Buy give a release date?

Um. Instead of asking someone on a message board about the Best Buy release date, why didn't ya just go to the Best Buy website? Not meaning to be rude, but honestly... that is kind of silly....

For those too lazy to click that link, Best Buy has the UK version for Region 1. Their site has a 07/26/05 release date, and it'll cost $49.99. From what I understand, this UK version will most likely be different than the US version, since the US normally cuts things out that others don't.

Mainly I was just lazy the other day, and I knew that info was different than what I saw earlier. I guess they're releasing the British versions of the show here first, but people are thinking the US version released later will have commentary tracks and other extras as well. My birthday is a few days after the 26th, and I really want it, but I'm thinking I may have to wait for the US release. Or not. I don't know!
