It was Sumela Kay according to this very handy link: http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/s/shadowcat.htm. IMDB confirms that. That link also has a detailed history of Kitty Pryde which makes it sound like Summer would be a great fit for the role. Athletic, dancer, some martial arts.

Yay for hissy fits! ;). Maggie Grace is fine in Lost, but she's not Kitty. Anyway, the whole 'hissy fit' thing is more rumor and interpretation, but I have heard that they're looking to cast Kitty again.
