Looking for an original Firefly PbEM

Hello,

Yep, new here.

I've seen the Firefly based stuff on the lists here, and it's good stuff.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a PBeM based Firefly simm. Now, I found one on pbem.com, but I haven't heard back from the game master, so I'm guessing it's dead.

In any case, I'm looking for an original Firefly based PbEM game, which means... not using any characters from the show. I've been role playing online for quite a few years, and it's been my experience that the best stuff's written using original, non-show characters.

Anyway, any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Ah if the one you've found on the Pbem.com is Firefly Monarch, we're not dead. The cappy is awol at the moment though.

We're part of the SLA, as is the Lotus, also an original Firefly simm, i think their open for crew at the moment.

Ah, that explains why he hasn't returned my email (complete with 'audition log') so... what's this other thing... SLA? And the Lotus? I'm interested, if they're active and seeking writers.

Do you have any URL's or anyone I can email?

There may be direct links to the websites for the sims, not sure, but the forums are great [or, were when I was a member. School interfered]. I highly recommend them.

The site is relatively easy to navigate, i'm sure you'll have no problem finding the Lotus.... all non trek Pbem's come under the banner of the Asimov fleet.
