The early screenings have been great for the dvd sales. I hope most of these sales represent new viewers who are also going to help make the BDM a success.

The question on my mind is how many total units have been sold, and how do the total sales compare to those of other DVDs? It would be nice to be able to refer to the "#4 highest selling DVD of all time" or "#2 highest selling TV on DVD box set of all time" or something like that. Does anybody know how this information can be obtained?

Hmmm. It's now at #7. And there's a middling-to-bad review by someone with the last name of Burgess. I just wrote a review to help push Burgess's review off the page but mine hasn't posted yet (at least the last I looked). Anyone else who wants to review the Firefly DVDs glowingly - now's the time!

Also, what's up with the endlessly static 1,359 review count at Amazon? Reviews are added (I see new ones all the time) and that 1,359 number never changes. Weird.
