The very first episode of "The Signal", a podcast show centered around the science fiction show "Firefly" is now available. Features include: "What is Firefly?" by Jill Arroway, and "Can't Stop the Signal: How Serenity Cultivates Fandom" by Carolyn Parkinson, and the music of the Jiangyin village dance. The show is presented by Les Howard, and edited by Jill Arroway with features presented by J. D. Ravatt and additional voices by Rich Adams, Carolyn Parkinson and Jill Arroway. Jeremy N and Les Howard provide technical know-how and Jeremy is also responsible for news-gathering. Brad Leclerc is nowhere to be seen.

Wow this is so shiney. Do you guys know how many people are into podcasting these days? If we could get a bunch of people to go vote for this site at

we could get this show up in the top 10 in no time.
I just love the picture on their opening page. I took this into photoshop and increased the size and it is now my desktop. It's like looking right into Serenity.
