well, for some very silly reason, it's changed to Kaylee when I tried to change it to Serenity.
I guess I was worried that people would judge me by my avatar, would think that I was of a character similar to Saffron's. Which I'm not.

Well, Standp, you may just get to keep on enjoying my avatar because for some odd reason, it's gone BACK to saffron. I can't explain why it won't do what I ask it to. If you were to log into my firefly account, you'd see that I'm supposed to have Serenity. Oh well. I'm glad you like Saffron and I hope you don't think I'm anything like her. (I've never had any husbands and Serenity is my real name.)

LOL! I would never assume ANYONE is like Saffron! I like to assume the best about people!
It positively disheartens my wife indeed that I like the actress who plays Saffron - she doesn't think she's that great an great actress, yet she seems to have no problem summoning the malevolence and evil, so it may not reflect well on the personal character (er, Saffron's not my wife's - my wife is awesome and not malevolent at all). I certainly don't choose to like Saffron. She's just so... articulate.
No, I assume no connection, at all. But you do post often, so there's usually lots of Saffron to see, which I feel is never a bad thing.

CMS- The two of us there should totally warrant a BDH appearance! Pictures, papers, think of the press we could generate! I think I'm even more excited now. weeeeeeee
drowz- I will meet you in line. We don't have such fine ice cream establishments up here in the mountains. Heck, we don't even have Baskin Robbins.
Serenity (the movie and the people), really good ice cream, awesome brownies, nut bread, and multi-colored cookies. I just don't know how to handle myself. I may pass out now
