OK. I just got a good question on the UB, so I'll post the answer here, too. Forgive me if you saw it over there.

The question was "Where is the banner and singing going to be?"

Here's my answer.

I'm hoping to get there around 8 (fingers crossed) I will grab a bite of food at the Shindig and then head over to the line. I expect a large number of people will be queing up by then. I figure that the line is the best place for the banner so that people who don't follow the boards can easily find it. I'll also keep the banner open in the theatre for anyone who missed it in the line.

The singing will be at 9:30 no matter where we are, still in line or already seated. So that could get a bit interesting.

The banner is 3'x6' so it'll be easy to spot.

Does that make sense, or am I completely incoherent now?

Okay, everyone meet under the girl with the large banner!

I guess it'll help if we kind of pass the word around about the singing (that it's starting at 9:30 promptly) in case some of us are in the theater, some of us are still in line, some people are in the bathroom or concession lines..

I think most of us are going to swing by the burrito place for sustenance before hand. What is it called again? Qdobas? Scroll back up and find it. It's right in the shopping center. It closes at 9, though.

Feel free to bring brownies or any other delicious baked goodie! I'll probably be making several batches of brownies (one with nuts, just for Standp). But I love having a reason to bake, so it's just me tapping into my inner Betty Crocker. If I lived in Charlotte, I'd be inviting you all over for dinner before hand, just so I'd have an excuse to cook. If anyone else feels like bringing anything, by all means!!

Oh, and that reminds me: standp, how do you feel about almonds? I'm all out of pecans, but I have some lovely organic almonds.

I also am giddy with excitement. Don't know how I'll sleep Weds. night.

Ah I hate my job! The fact that they can deny me leave on the basis that they are shorthanded at a kids activity and want me to watch young'ns jump around in a "Moon Walk" (it's nothing like the moon. . .) for 4 hours is ridiculous! Anyways, you guys have a blast and if you had a small moment of silence in my honor that would be awesome.
