I`m suffering with Chocolate withdrawal - the places I went to today for a chocolate fix had melted chocolate! and noone thought of putting some in the drinks fridges at the petrol stations ro supermarket

I hope that youve (Fray) got your camera ready tonight & tomorrow, apparently the west end is being set up for the premiere of `War of the Worlds` - I bet you`ll see some really funky stuff, like red weed, maybe a martian or 2 and some other bits and bobs

I was up in Leicester Square on Saturday to see Batman Begins. They seem to premiere every seriously big movie at the Odeon, even if they don't actually show it there. They had to immediately take down all the publicity on the walls for it and it was replaced by mock damage to the structure for (I presume) War of the Worlds.

Batman Begins. War of the Worlds. I just want you all to know, I believe in Tom and Katie.

I`m seeing my Martian next week - this new film looks a good blockbuster, but I wonder how much of the HG Wells ideal that they`ve kept, here hoping for a good one.

We can now see that if Serenity came out earlier, it would have been swamped!

I have absolutely no intention of seeing this version of War of the Worlds. HGWells is a genius and his work should be imagined not some 1950s piece of crap reworked. Arrrrgggghhhhh

Besides except for very rare occasions I hate blockbusters/disaster/scifi films with a supporting-cast of children, yeuch

Oooh, which screening Fray? I went from the Premiere screen at about 5 o'clock.

I've just been distracted by a huge hornet buzzing around the room and suddenly thought that for the premiere of Serenity, they could release 50,000 fireflies and have them light up Leicester Square. Or is that too weird?

I'm afraid that it doesn't make much sense for the world premiere of Serenity to be in the UK, it launches in the US first and they should get the earliest wave of publicity from that. Then the following week, we get a premiere and all the publicity from that in the UK. I think we'll just have to content ourselves with the fact that we got the very first fan screening.

Chocolatey photos Emma? You'll have to wait until Serenity 2 for those I'm afraid. Bring your camera.

And chocolate, obviously.
