Heh, great ideas guys. Keep 'em coming. It's fun to dream of stuff we'd like to have :) I'm glad to see others out there are into art books. Sure, the Serenity script book will have some in it, but not nearly as much as was probably made, and none from Firefly. So that item is near the top of my list.

I'd love to see a Serenity ship toy. Someone mentioned model. I hate building models. I tried the Enterprise from the original Star Trek when I was very much younger and decided models weren't for me. Anyway, Serenity toy. Not plastic... high quality, light-up with replaceable batteries (not push a button light-up, it would be turn a switch on/off light-up) - but no sound effect buttons, there's no sound in space! - in other words, a really expensive and really nice reproduction of the ship that I can put on my desk. And stare at all day long. And turn the lights on and stare at all night long.

Actually when I said 'model' I didn't mean 'model kit', I think I meant what you call a 'toy'... except that seems to be a trivialized word for it so I called it a model... but I too wouldn't want to mess with putting it together piece by piece, I'd just want it pre-made. (Though, I suppose for those that _do_ like making models, Serenity would be a good choice)

I agree with all the above especially Mal's coat.

How about a large Serenity ship carrying case to hold all the Firefly action figures? You know like the Millienum Falcon one. I would love that for my desk.

Is there a Firefly theme song ring tone yet? I would love that for my phone.

I'd also like a toy or model of Serenity. I started one from scratch some time ago, but I really don't want to be halfway through, having spent months of my life on it when an authorized, perfect, output-from-the-original-digital-file version comes out (they did this the Enterprise toys: those were built in the computer and then spit out in perfect 3-D.)

But I will have the good ship Serenity in my dirty little hands one day, oh yes.

Hell yeah. I'd spend hours on one, carefully obsessing over each individual hull-panel, connection, and molded-in detail. Imagine the details; the cockpit and kitchen (visible through the windows), the cargo bay (surely there'd be the option of building it "landed," with the main door open), maybe even a tiny little mule to be painted up and positioned (and lost ).

Plus the customizability --them as can would be inclined to get two; one as Serenity, and one as their own ship.

Oh damn, those are some sweet options you're describing...

Just think, your second, customized Firefly could be an Aught Three without the extenders (tends to shake a bit).

Firefly Season 2 DVD

Mal's gun (preferably a real one, or one wich has everything real except the bullet coming out).

I know this has been mentioned before, but for those who missed it or those new to the board: Abbyshot is making "the Serenity Browncoat" and they have lots of experience making replica coats/jackets from various movies/anime/games. checkout www.Abbyshot.com

Adding to thread: I have one of the Millennium Falcons on the wire and suction cup that dangles off of the windshield in my car right behind the rearview mirror, and I desparetly want a "Serenity" to replace it. And I second the Season 2 DVD boxset.

I think I'd go for the box set, Seasons 1 - 5. That'd be tasty.
