Hi all...NoirTech turned me on to this thread. I'm the one with extra tickets, looking to scalp them. I'm actually not looking to make any profit, but rather just to cover the travel costs. A bunch of the people who signed on to go as a group have bailed out, and now I don't even have a reliable car to make the 300 mile journey in. Consequently, I won't even be able to go to the show unless I can sell extra tickets to cover all the travel expenses that otherwise would have been split amongst a ton of people (rental car, gas, probably overnight hotel stay).

I will have up to 5 tickets, and pricing would go as follows:

1 ticket - $40
2 tickets - $70 ($35 each)
4 tickets - $120 ($30 each)
All 5 tickets - $140 ($28 each)

Prices are arranged to encourage large purchases, since I'd prefer not to have to track down 3-4 different buyers when I get into Tampa on Thursday. If anyone's interested, post your email here and I will get back to you. If not, this stuff is going up on eBay on Monday.

Akkk, I hadn't realized that we were closing in so quickly on the screening date! I put two Tampa tickets on eBay since there's not much time left. There's unsold as of this posting though, and I still have the others if anyone is interested.

I'm still looking for two tickets and I've checked out your auction, I wont be spending 75 bucks for them though. If they remain reasonable, you know -45, I will place a bid.

No problem =) I don't really intend to go over the fair market value of the things. If $45 is all they're worth to folks then so be it....I'll skip a few meals or something and pawn off some DVDs to finance the rest of the trip. $75 just seemed to be about where all the other Florida auctions were ending up....if the other Tampa auction (ending today) doesn't get that high then I'll see about lowering the Buy-It-Now price.

The two that were on eBay sold for $75, leaving me with three. Would probably go $100 for the remaining tickets ($33.33 each). If I have to put more on eBay I'll probably just sell a pair since pairs seem more popular and give the third ticket away to the cutest girl that agrees to sit in my lap for the entire film ;)

If interested, try and post back by this evening since I will probably put the last eBay auction up at that time.

Thanks for keeping me posted. I've got a call in to the guy who's willing to go a little higher - might be able to take these off your hands.

Also, thanks for letting me know about the other guy, too... My list was up to 11, so this wouldn't necessarily sabotage your sale. Just gotta do a quick head-check with those who said they wanted tickets, and see whose plans have (and have not) changed...
