It's 10:30pm Thursday night, and I just finished watching the last episode of Firefly on DVD. My brother told me about this show last week (he heard about it also via word of mouth) and all I can say is holy crap, is this ever good. I'm so geeked up right now that I'm posting this thread, and I can't help myself. I never thought I'd say this, but this show is better than STNG, better than Voyager, hell, better than ANY show of any genre I've ever seen. I can't believe this thing is like three years old and I'd never heard of it before now. But wanted to let everyone know, there are still plenty of new fans like me that haven't yet experienced the greatness. I'm forcing everyone I know to buy the DVD. I'll abide no burning, this thing needs to be fully supported. I cannot believe the dipshits at FOX that cancelled this show, evidently for being WAY too good. Could these corporate morons be any more clueless?? Anyway, I can't wait for the movie, I know it's going to be a huge success. I'll attempt to get everyone else in Texas to go see this......in the meantime, everyone give the man what for!

actually you can have them watch it on Sci-fi channel...

believe me: you can easily follow the plot in the movie...you will be teased by knowing there is back story you missed,

Thanks for sharing how you came to find Firefly. This is a great time to be a new fan to the show. We have comics & trading cards for the movie coming out in July & September respectively, the movie itself at the end of September, and actions figures sometime around the release of the movie. You missed all the dark uncertain times, so count yourself lucky.
