Real ones, I mean. Lightning Bugs, Fireflies.... I just had a casual early evening walk in sweltering Atlanta,GA., and those lil guys were out in force! I must have hit it just right, because I've not seen so many out yet this year.... beautiful!

Sure is a beautiful sight.

Gotta get up to the cottage on weekends to see 'em myself. Totally worth the commute.

Aren't they great?! We had a few zooming around our yard tonight. The kids across the stree were catching them. Such fun to watch.

Yeah, I had to take my 4-year-old daughter out and catch one for her. I made a point of saying "this is a FIREFLY, aren't they neat? OK. Now, say it with me, FIREFLY"

You know, I saw one the other day and was so nostalgic for my childhood summers on my grandparents farm. But sadly I only saw the one, though I keep looking.

I think...think...I saw one driving home last night. I nearly missed a stop sign because I was watching to see if there actually was one or if I just imagined it. I haven't seen one in years since you don't see them in Fl. But now I'm in SC, so I'm hoping....
