I don't actually get the bit about the thread not lasting. OK, I can see that timewise they don't last that long but we've been starting regular new threads because we pass the 100 post mark so darned quickly on each one!

New threads are our gift to the broadbandless

Nonetheless, bookmarking is still a good idea seeing how quickly threads can get lost around here - especially if a new wave of US screenings should crop up!

yep, pretty sure this will be a fine long-lasting thread now Z has actually set a chocolate challenge. I can bring all sorts of weird chocolate: Droste, Hagelslag (of the tee hee - Van Dobben - variety) and a strange collection of different things from the department stores here - they all seem to have their 'own' chocolate. I shall find some funny shaped things and bring them.

Should it be a blind tasting to prevent Becs' snobbery (Leonidas is very cheap in Holland, so is Godiva and all manner of goodies - tee hee)? Should it be with score-pards - oooh, decisions, the excitement, the tension...ooohhh

extremely dimensionally transcendental

Just as a matter of interest...how much chocolate are we supposed to bring?!

not too much i hope - but chocolate is much cheaper here than England so i can bring a bit more perhaps. All snacks are cheaper here but real food is way more expensive (not that i'm bitter, hmph)

Ummm, Emma?......(taps foot and frowns dangerously).... what precisely is wrong with hagelslag? I grew up with hagelslag! Two slices of bread with hagelslag every morning until I left for England which, by the way, is a very uncivilised country notable for its lack of hagelslag. Good thing the English have Cadbury's chocolate eggs, that helped

I suppose I will be able to recognise you at the con because you will be staggering around with your arms full of Leonidas, bags of hagelslag and white chocolate Chunky Kit Kats? (my latest discovery, a must!). Save some for me!

Bring as much chocolate as you want to share out, especially if it`s that really expensive dark chocolate they sell abroad - Harrods probably will do it

Actually I happen to know of a VERY nice, exclusive chocolate supplier....just wondering whether I like you all enough to buy from there though...!

Suppose you have until November to convince me

You can obtain several types of chocolate spread from some of the supermarkets - dark chocolate was my favourite when I was young(er)

Phoebe is... eating chocolate. Divine bars. They are DIVINE! Pardon the pun.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeee(continues until November)eeeeeease?

Meanwhile, I'm gearing up to go see Batman Begins. After the last two disappointments, anything even remotely good is going to seem brilliant.

Oh no. I sound like a Star Wars fan. Is there a cure for that? Does it involve chocolate?
