Looking for fic (Simon, River, or Kaylee)

I'm looking for fic, which I guess is obvious from the title of this thread I suppose.
In particular I'm looking for fics where Simon meets Kaylee's family. The idea is just great for me. How much would she tell them, how nervous would he be, would they get to meet River - all those questions that just beg to answered in fic. I've already read "Ties that Bind" by Harriet Vane and I loved it (though I personally lean towards the Tams knowing Simon was right).
Also looking for any fics that have River and Simon's parents. I keep trying to think of ways for someone on Serenity to meet them and size them up.
I've read most of the summaries for fics on this page, but there are so many I'm bound to have overlooked a few (after a while, your eyes do begin to glaze over, you know) :)
Recommendations for these would be fantastic. I would prefer stories consistent with canon, though, I'm a horrible canonite.

Well, aside from Kaysky's PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE storyline, I don't see to much Simon meeting Kaylee's folks stories.
Now, as for stories involving the Tam family, I actually have seen a few. There's a one shot called "The Dinner" by DeSango, posted on 5/24/04. There's my fave, one called "Journey Home" by Rielpryn that was posted 3/6/05. It's supposed to be the first in a series. What happens is that after Regan left him, Gabriel decides to head out into the Black to find S and R. I'm eagerly awaiting to see what happens (hint, hint Rielpryn).
And, not to toot my own horn or anything, but I'm currently in the middle of a series called YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN, where Simon, River and a pregnant Kaylee come home to the Tam estate after the fall of the Alliance to deal with the ramifications of what had happened. Lemme know what you think.
