Gotta read Tara O'Shea's stuff--she also publishes as LJ Constantine. Especially "That Old Yeh Shen" and "Lex Talionis." Amazing writer. You may need to find her stuff at her own site--ljconstantine.com
Maystone is great too; not sure if she's here or at fanfiction.net
If you like Mal angst, try my two--"Going Home" and "aftermath."
"Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle. . . ."

Well, there's always my stuff that I like to pimp. THE SERENITY GIG, BLUE HAND BLUES, YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN, the two SHOTGUN TAM stories and three stand alones.
I absolutely have to give a shout out to my gal pal KaySky. Her stuff is some of the most entertaining stuff you'll ever read.
LJC's stuff is very dense, but very well written and thought out. And my fave old author who's gone now, was Harriet Vane. Her TIES THAT BIND series is one of the best series I've ever seen. Could serve as a treatment for one of the movies, actually.
Also, there's "Risk Anything" by starrbaby and posted on 2/14/05 in which Jayne briefly steps into Simon's shoes. There are two stories by liquideyes in which Simon deals with the news of Zoe's pregnancy. "Into the Sunlight" by Ragdoll and posted on 2/11/05 shows the Serenity crew in a modern day high school environment (this is a story that SCREAMS sequels). And one of the earlier stories I always liked, and my favorite holiday themed story, is "Christmas on Serenity" by Corrielle that was posted 12/22/02.
That's just stuff off the top of my head.

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?
