I don't have access to Ron Glass' intro (I got Mal's off an old VHS tape, but I didn't start taping Firefly until after the switch), but if anyone can point me in the direction of a copy, I'd give it a try.

That was ruttin' awesome! Much better feel for the 'verse and gives newbies some idea of who all these relative unknowns are.

This is the trailer that should have been released.
