I think they're all still doing the Browncoat Happy Dance for actually having gotten tickets. May take a few days for them to get back on the boards.

Hey there...went by the veterans 24 last night after work...around 5pm, and wanted to let you know the whole front is in shade at that time of day! So we might not perish due to this unimaginable heat while waiting in line to see the movie next week!
Also, is everyone coming in costumes? I need to know!!!! Will let you all know if I have any of my group that cannot make it and have spare tickets....
looking forward to meeting you-all in person! I've been reading your posts for over a year now, and can't wait to put a face with the names!

--> I'm planning on costuming, at least to start...bringing a change of clothes in case I get heat stroke.

--> Why the steakhouse? I'm flexible, but can't afford to eat at somewhere expensive, which a lot of steakhouses can be (I've never been to that particular one). I know GI can get crowded, but it's cheap and a place we wouldn't likely freak them out by coming in costume with a crowd. Also with GI, it would be a bit more flexible, with unexpected people dropping in for a just a drink, rather than trying to pick a number for reserved tables at a more formal kind of place.
I've never been there, even though I work just a little ways away...I'll go with popular opinion, if someone's been to the steakhouse before and thinks it's ok. If it's more along the lines of Longhorn, then I'm not for it...too expensive, hard to get a table for that many. If they've got a private room or something, then maybe, but I'm still voting for cheap food and a more casual place, even if it is busy.
Thoughts? I was planning on going over after work on Monday to warn them...
