June 23 Screenings, Birthday Idea for Joss

Since the next set of screenings will be on Joss's birthday, I thought it'd be cool if we browncoats could organize a 35-city birthday present.

I've posted at the Universal Board, but, I'm the idea's being buried, so, I thought I'd try here.

The idea is this: one rep from each city bring a Happy Birthday banner to the screening, and let all the Browncoats sign it. At 9:30 (read Sept. 30) The representative leads the group in singing Happy Birthday to Joss.

I think I've got someone in Vegas, and in Philly. I'll be in Denver, dispite the fact that I didn't manage to get tickets as they went on sale and sold out while I drove to work (like, 45 minutes).

Who's with me? Volunteers, please?

Just popping in to update. At the thread on the Universal Board, we've now got 4 terrific banner designs to pick from, and committments from 20 leaders in 20 cities. We still need leaders in 15 cities.

Those cities are:
Albany
Atlanta
Boston
Cincinatti
Miami
Memphis
Los Angeles
New York
Norfolk
Phoenix
Pittsburgh
Sacramento
Salt Lake
San Francisco
St. Louis

We desperately need folks in California to take up the cause, since that's most likely where Joss'll be. So far, not a single California city has a volunteer.

If Somebody has extra tickets in STL I'll gladlly do it. They all sold out fast.

Honestly? I don't even have tickets, and I'm going anyway, and bringing the banner for Denver. Those tickets sold out way too fast. I stayed up late, checked all morning, and then, in the time it took for me to go to work, they were gone.
