If someone gets a serious burn you really would rather have it covering the outside of the body, leaving a twisted and deformed person who will never truly heal, than inside. Of course in the future medical technology is obviously much better than what I was taught to work with, which always assumed that help was a minimum of two hours away as well.

In spite of the wait the only thing they could teach us to do was make the person breathe easy and wait for help. There are only two other things I can remember that had, “Call for help because you can’t help,” as directions. One was a broken spine, the other was fluid in the ears, which is a sign of over pressure in the brain, a death sentence within 24 hours if they don’t get to help.

In Safe, after Jayne hurriedly dumps all Simon's stuff back in his room, he runs up the stairs. Just then if you look in the med-bay there is someone standing there. Looks like one of the film crew.
