Happy birthday, Jewel, and may you make lots of money this year, especially around the start of the new fiscal year!
My first and only comment on your weight, I swear (unless you personally ask me for more):
I told my wife that you put on weight for the Kaylee role. She said, "Where?" So it's not noticeable whether you're skinnier or heavier, to my eye. Maybe you've got a skeletal structure or other genetic factor(s) that allows additional weight to be distributed more evenly?
But here's the kicker, so listen carefully: Nobody would have ever known that you were forced to put on additional weight for the role if Joss hadn't mentioned it on the DVD commentary. You heard right: Your and the fans' angst over your weight is all Joss' fault!
Now, a smart girl would know how to parlay such information into a lifetime of roles in every project Joss Whedon creates for the rest of his career. Y'all do have 'guilt' in Canadian culture, don't you?
My present to you, on your 23rd birthday. Better than chocolate, right?

(NB: Guys know better than to ask questions they don't want to hear the answers to. Like, "Hey, honey, how come our little Johnny has blond hair and blue eyes when we both have brown hair and brown eyes?" We have sports to distract us from our niggling doubts.)

So, Elwoodmom or firefloozysuzie... Is it Morena's birthday or not? It seems wrong not to have a separate thread for her birthday, if it's true.
We really need a ruling on this, and to start a thread post-haste for Morena's birthday wishes, if indeed it is her birthday. Or did I miss a memo wherein it was determined that Ms. Baccarin didn't merit a 'happy birthday' thread of her very own? I fear we may be in danger of treating a perfectly lovely young woman most callously. I can't bear that thought...

Yeah, what Kellaina said! I've got people telling me I'm too skinny, and I need to eat more. Like Kellaina said, I'm not, and I don't. I eat what I want, stop when I'm full, and this is just the size I am! Everyone should be their own NATURAL weight and then everyone would look great, because that's how people are supposed to be!
So yeah. What I meant to say was HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEWEL! I hope your celebrations are wonderful, and that you have the kind of time you want to have!
